CBSE Class 10, 12 Term 2 Practical Exams: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has directed all the board-affiliated schools to initiate practical examinations for students of Class 10, 12 from March 2, 2022. Adding to the instructions, the Board has emphasized adherence to Covid-appropriate behaviour during the course of the examination.
The board issued an official notice which stated, "Last date would be 10 days before the date of last examination of the respective classes. The Board shall not consider any extension in the dates".

While releasing guidelines for the conduct of CBSE Class 10 and 12 practical exams, the board stated that the schools will have to bear in mind the bifurcation of Term 1 and Term 2 exams while ensuring preparations for the practicals. Other important guidelines issued by the Board are listed herewith for the reference of the students.
 
CBSE Class 10, 12 Practical Exams: Guidelines
 
  1. CBSE board has instructed the schools to upload the practical, project and internal assessment marks simultaneously, starting March 3, 2022.
  2. The board has stressed on the uploading of accurate marks, as marks once uploaded cannot be altered.
  3. To ensure compliance to Covid-appropriate behaviour, the CBSE board has suggested the schools to divide the batches of students appearing in the exam into sub-groups of 10 students. This will prevent overcrowding of students and the transmissibility of infections.
  4. CBSE has stated that the board will not appoint any external examiner for the Class 10 students. However, the board will appoint an external examiner for the Class 12 students.
  5. The schools affiliated with CBSE are required to appoint an internal examiner holding adequate experience and expertise in all subjects.
