CAT 2024: The Common Admission Test (CAT) registration date 2024 has been extended. Now the candidates will be able to apply for the same till 20 September 2024. Candidates who have not applied yet are getting another chance to fill CAT form 2024 by visiting the official website i.e. iimcat.ac.in.
CAT exam 2024 will be conducted on November 24 in three shifts – first shift from 8:30 am to 10:30 am, second shift from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, and third shift from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. The exam will be held in online mode. The CAT exam is conducted every year for admission to postgraduate and doctorate programs offered in IIMs. CAT scores are also used for management courses offered by non-IIMs.
The candidates may note that they will have to pay an application fee to register for this exam. Candidates belonging to the general, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates will have to pay Rs 2,500 whereas the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Person with Disabilities (PwD) applicants will pay Rs 1,250 as application fees.
To participate in this exam, the candidates must have a bachelor’s degree, with a minimum of 50 percent marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in the case of candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PWD categories) are eligible to apply.
