The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced to postpone the BPSC 66th Mains Exam 2020. The decision has been taken as a precautionary measure in view of the surge in the covid-19 cases across the country. The Commission has also uploaded a notice regarding the same on its official website bpsc.bih.nic.in.
The candidates who have qualified for the Bihar 66th Combined Competitive Mains Exam 2020 can visit the official website to check related updates. The main written examination was scheduled to be held on June 04, 05 & 08, 2021. The Commission has also stated in its notice that the new dates will be notified later on the official website.

The BPSC 66th Combined Competitive Prelims Exam 2020 was held in 35 districts at 887 examination centre while the re-examination was held on February 14, 2021. The Commission has released the provisional answer key on February 25, 2021. The result for the same was declared on March 24, 2021. Candidates who clear the Preliminary exam will appear for the Main exam. The shortlisted candidates will appear in the interview round for recruitment into various departments of the Bihar government.
The online registration process for the BPSC 66th main examination commenced on April 6, 2021, and ended on May 17, 2021. The applications were invited by BPSC for 66th Combined Competitive Exam 2020 on 731 Vacancy. Out of which 216 are for Block Panchayat Raj Officers, 210 are for Food and Supply Inspectors, 84 are for Revenue Officers, 65 are for Labour Enforcement Officers (Non-gazetted), 42 are for Deputy Superintendents of Police, 40 are for Additional District Transport Officers, 25 are for Bihar Probation Service (Probation Officers), and 17 are for Municipal Corporations. Selection will be based on Preliminary Examination, Mains Examination, and Interview.
