Autistic students appearing for class XII examinations in Maharashtra Board have been allowed to use a basic calculator.
These students can use a basic calculator for maths, physics, chemistry, book-keeping and accountancy papers, Education Minister Vinod Tawde said on Saturday.
The decision has been taken on humanitarian grounds and it fulfills a long-standing demand of medical experts, he said.
