Aditya Mohan Sinha, hailing from Bihar's Muzaffarpur, has secured the 29th position in the UPSC 2023 examination for the Central Armed Police Forces (AC). His motivation stemmed from his grandfather, Krishna Mohan Prasad Sinha, who served as a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP). After completing his engineering degree, Aditya made the decision to leave his startup to dedicate himself to UPSC preparation.

Inspiration
Aditya Mohan Sinha has successfully secured the role of Assistant Commandant. He expresses that he drew inspiration from the image of his grandfather in uniform, which he kept at home. Initially, his father, Amar, harbored concerns regarding his son's prospects of obtaining a government position. Nevertheless, Aditya's diligent efforts bore fruit. Amar had once aspired to follow in his father's footsteps and join the police force, a dream he was unable to realize. Now, his son has fulfilled that aspiration for their family.

Education
After earning his degree in Electrical Engineering from the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Aditya received a job offer and co-founded a startup in Bengaluru with his peers. However, his ambition to enter the police service prompted him to resign from his position and return home to focus on preparing for the UPSC examination.

Achieving dreams
Aditya Mohan successfully cleared the UPSC exam on his first attempt, although he did not pass the physical assessment. He subsequently began preparing for a second attempt, utilizing the lessons learned from his earlier experience. This time, he achieved the 29th rank in the Sahastra Seema Bal. Aditya attributes his success to self-directed study, perseverance, hard work, and the unwavering support of his family.
