The withdrawal facility of UPSC CDS 1 Application form 2022 has begun on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 on the official website of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) at upsc.gov.in. Candidates who had filled the CDS 1 application form 2022 and are not desirous of appearing in the upcoming exam can withdraw their application through the online mode. The final date to do the same has been fixed as January 24, 2022. Candidates can proceed through the withdrawal application by using their registration number.

It must be noted that the CDS 1 application withdrawal 2022 facility is only available for the candidates who have successfully applied for the CDS 1 exam scheduled on April 10, 2022. However, the exam fee shall not be refunded to the candidates who are withdrawing their applications. The facility of application withdrawal has been introduced for those candidates who are not prepared well for the exam or do not want to lose their attempt.

Candidates may follow the simple steps mentioned herewith to withdraw their applications.
  1. Log on to the official website upsconline.nic.in
  2. Search for 'Online request for withdrawal of application'.
  3. Then click on the CDS 1 Application form 2022 withdrawal link.
  4. Read the listed instructions carefully and enter your registration number.
  5. Post this, an OTP will be sent to your mobile number and email address, which will be valid for 30 minutes.
  6. After entering the OTP, the CDS 1 Form withdrawal will be processed.
  7. Candidates can obtain a hard copy of the same for future references.
 Candidates must note that if they fail to withdraw their application form for CDS 1 Exam 2022, they must immediately contact UPSC at upscsoap@nic.in. However, they can only do so if they have filled up the withdrawal form successfully. They will not be able to withdraw incomplete application forms.
