Uttar Pradesh schools of going to reopen from October 19 for class 9 to 12 students. The state government has decided that classes will be held in different shifts. In addition, all the necessary protocols such as social distancing and sanitization will be strictly followed.
 
Students will be allowed to attend classes only after obtaining written permission from their parents. Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma said that the schools would resume from next week with the attendance of students and would run in different shifts with 50 percent attendance each day. The first shifts for classes 9 and 10 and the second shifts for classes 11 and 12 will be held.
 
Apart from this, the state government has also issued SOPs to reopen schools. In which the use of face masks is required for all teachers, students, and workers. The deputy CM further stated that instructions have also been issued to continue and encourage online learning. Preference will be given to calling those students who are denied online education.
 
According to the SOP, the seating arrangement between two students should have a distance of 6 feet from each other. However proper sanitation will be done before the schools open and this practice is mandatory before every shift. Schools should have sanitizer, hand wash, thermal scanning, and first aid.
