SSC GD Constable Notification 2025: The notification for recruitment to GD Constable posts in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and NIA among others is going to be released by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) tomorrow i.e. on 5th September 2024. With the release of the notification, the application process for this recruitment will also be started, after which the candidates will be able to complete the application process within the stipulated dates by visiting the official website of SSC at ssc.gov.in through online mode to join this recruitment.
To apply for SSC GD Recruitment 2025, the candidate must have passed 10th/Matriculation from a recognized board/institute. Apart from this, the minimum age of the candidate should not be more than 18 years and maximum age 23 years as per the prescribed cutoff date. ST/SC category will be given relaxation in upper age by 5 years, OBC by 3 years.
Candidates must note that inorder to participate in this recruitment, the minimum height of male candidates of General, OBC and SC category should be 170 cm while the minimum height of female candidates should be 157 cm. The minimum height for ST (male) candidates is 162.5 cm while for female candidates it is 150 cm. The chest measurement of male candidates must be 80-85 cm. For ST category, the chest measurement has been fixed at 76-80 cm.
Additionally, in this recruitment, the candidates who pass the written examination will have to appear in PET. In PET, male candidates will have to complete a 5 km race in 24 minutes. Apart from this, female candidates will have to complete a 1.6 km race in 8.5 minutes.
