The detailed notification for the  Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination 2020 is to be released today i.e. December 3, 2019, by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC).

A short notice was released by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), regarding the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination 2020. 
As per the official calendar, the Commission will conduct the Tier I examination from March 16 to 27, 2020. Candidates can check eligibility, vacancy details, selection process and other information below.

SSC CHSL 2019: Vacancy Details
Vacancies will be determined in due course. The updated vacancy position will be uploaded on the website of the Commission from time to time.

- Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA)
- Postal Assistant (PA)/ Sorting Assistant (SA)
- Data Entry Operator (DEO)
- Data Entry Operator, Grade ‘A’

SSC CHSL 2019: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification


LDC/ JSA, PA/ SA, DEO (except DEOs in C&AG): Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
Data Entry Operator (DEO) in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG): Candidates should be 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.

Age Limit

Candidates of age group 18 to 27 years can apply for the examination. The permissible relaxation in the upper age limit for different categories is given in the notification.

SSC CHSL 2019: Selection Process
The selection process of SSC CHSL 2019 comprises Tier I, Tier II and Tier III levels. Candidates who will qualify the Tier I exam will have to appear for the Tier-II exam. Normalized scores of the candidates will be used to determine merit and for final selection. Candidates will be shortlisted for Tier-III Examination on the basis of their performance in Tier-I + Tier-II subject to having scored a minimum of 33% marks in the Tier-II Examination. Tier-III Examination is qualifying in nature.

Candidates who want to apply for SSC CHSL 2019 will have to pay Rs 100/- as application fees. Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or in SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan before the last date.
