Board of Secondary Education, BSE Odisha has commenced the registration process for OSSTET 2021 phase 2 registration today, on November 12. The candidates who wish to apply for OSSTET, 2021 (2nd) phase exam can fill up the online application form by visiting the official website. The detailed notification consisting application date, eligibility criteria and selection process is available at BSE's website - bseodisha.ac.in. 

Candidates are can apply online for OSSTET 2021 (2nd phase) form November 12 to November 20, midnight. All those candidates who have successfully qualified the OSSTET 2021 phase 1 examination are eligible to apply for the second phase OSSTET 2021. OSSTET 2021 2nd Phase Eligibility Criteria

Posts - Trained Graduate Arts
Eligibility Criteria - Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/ Commerce/Shastri (Sanskrit) Degree with two school subjects as Honours/ Elective / Pass/ Optional/ Compulsory. 
And, Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)/ 3 year integrated B.Ed.- M.Ed course from a NCTE Recognized Institution.

Posts - Trained Graduate Science (PCM/ CBZ)
Eligibility Criteria - Bachelor’s Degree in science / B.Tech / B.E.D Degree with two schools subject as Honours/ Elective / Pass/ Optional.
And, Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)/ 3 year integrated B.Ed.- M.Ed course from a NCTE Recognized Institution.

Posts - Hindi Teacher
Eligibility Criteria - Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University with Hindi as one of the Honours/ Elective/ Optional/ Pass subjects with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
Or, Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.

Posts - Classical Teacher (Sanskrit)
Eligibility Criteria - Bachelor’s Degree with Sanskrit as one of the Honours/ Elective / Optional/ Pass subject from a recognised university with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
And, Sikshya Shastri (Sanskrit), a course prescribed by NCTE, from a Recognized University/ Institution.
Or, Shastri (Sanskrit) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ ST/ PH/ SEBC candidates) from a recognized university.
And, Sikshya Shastri (Sanskrit), a course prescribed by NCTE, from a Recognized University/ Institution.

Posts - Classical Teacher (Urdu)
Eligibility Criteria - Alim with 50% marks in aggregate (45% for PH candidates).
And, B.Ed./ Urdu B.Ed. from a NCTE Recognized University/ Institution.
Or, B.A. (Persian) WITH 50% marks in aggregate (45% PH Candidates).
And, B.Ed./ Urdu B.Ed. from a NCTE Recognized University/ Institution.

Posts - Classical Teacher (Telegu)
Eligibility Criteria - Bachelor’s Degree in Arts having Telegu as subject with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ ST/ PH/ SEBC) candidates).
And, Telegu B. Ed. from a University / Institution recognized by NCTE.

Posts - Physical Education Teacher
Eligibility Criteria - 10+2 or its equivalent examination from a recognized institution with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ ST/ PH/ SEBC) candidates).
And, C.P.Ed./ B.P.Ed./ M.P.Ed. From a recognized Board/ University.

OSSTET 2021 How to Apply
  • Candidates will be required to visit the official website of Board of Secondary Education, BSE Odisha at bseodisha.ac.in.
  • Click on the OSSTET 2021 tab and read the detailed information brochure and instructions to fill up online application form.
  • Enter the application form as instructed and upload the scanned images of necessary documents.
  • Candidates will have to pay the OSSTET 2021 application fee online and are suggested to take a print of the application form after final submission.

OSSTET 2021 Selection Process

In order to qualify the Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test (OSSTET) 2021 2nd phase examination, candidates must have to secure a minimum of 60% marks in each paper. SC/ ST/ PH/ SEBC candidates have to secure the minimum of 50% marks.

OSSTET 2021 Exam Details
  • There shall be two papers of the OSSTET viz Paper-I and Paper-II.
  • The Duration of the Test in each paper shall be 2 hours and 30 minutes.
  • All questions will be Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) each carrying one mark with four alternatives out of which one is correct.
  • There shall be no negative marking.
