Indian Navy SSR Officer Recruitment: Indian Navy has released recruitment for the posts of SSR Medical Assistant for unmarried men. The application process for recruitment to these posts is starting from 7 September. The last date for application has been fixed as 17 September. The first condition to apply for these posts is that the male candidate must be unmarried.
Candidates must note that the merit will be made on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination in the second phase. Only those who pass PET, PST and Medical will be in this list.
Indian Navy SSR Officer Recruitment 2024: Age limit
- The age limit of the candidates applying for the post of SSR Medical Assistant of Indian Navy has been fixed.
- For 12th pass - Birth should not have taken place after 1 November 2003 to 30 April 2007.
- The height of the candidate should be at least 152.5 cm.
Indian Navy SSR Officer Recruitment 2024: Details
- Selection - In the first phase, candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their 12th PCB marks. In the second phase, there will be a physical fitness test and written examination.
- Salary - During the initial trial period, on recruitment, the nine soldiers will be given Rs 14,600 / - per month as stipend. After completion of the test, the salary will be given in Level 3 (Rs 21,700 / - to Rs 69,100 / -) of the Defense Pay Matrix. Also, Military Service Allowance of Rs. 5200/- will be given along with Dearness Allowance (as applicable).
- Promotion - There are opportunities for promotion up to the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer-I. In which pay scale will be Level 8 of Defense Pay Matrix (Rs. 47,600/- to Rs. 1,51,100/-). Also, Military Service Allowance of Rs. 5200/- per month will be given. There are also opportunities for promotion up to the post of Commissioned Officer on having good record, passing the prescribed examinations and SSB.
- Security Insurance - According to the official notification, security insurance (on contribution) of Rs. 75 lakh is applicable for sailors
