Indian Navy SSR Recruitment 2024: The Indian Navy will close the registration window for recruitment on the posts of SSR Medical Assistant for unmarried men today. Interested candidates can visit the official website i.e. www.joinindiannavy.gov.in. to apply for these posts. The application process for this recruitment commenced on 7 September 2024.
The selection of the candidates for these posts will be done based on the merit list. The merit will be made based on marks obtained in the written examination in the second phase. Only those who pass PET, PST, and Medical will be on this list. In the second phase, there will be a physical fitness test and a written examination.
During the initial trial period, on recruitment, the nine soldiers will be given Rs 14,600 / - per month as a stipend. After completion of the test, the salary will be given in Level 3 (Rs 21,700 / - to Rs 69,100 / -) of the Defense Pay Matrix. Also, a Military Service Allowance of Rs. 5200/- will be given along with a Dearness Allowance (as applicable).
According to the official notification, security insurance (on contribution) of Rs. 75 lakh is applicable for sailors.
