Indian Army SSC Tech 2024: The Indian Army has commenced the registration process for the Short Service Commission (SSC) tech 64th men course and the 35th SSC tech women course. Interested candidates can visit the official website i.e. joinindianarmy.nic.in. to register for the same.
The candidates may note that the last date to fill out the application form is 14 August 2024. This recruitment drive will fill out a total of 379 vacancies out of which, 350 vacancies are for SSC (Tech) men, 29 for SSC (Tech) women, and two for widows of defense personnel.
According to the official notice, "Unmarried male and female engineering graduates, as well as widows of Indian Armed Forces personnel who died in the line of duty, are eligible to apply for the Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Indian Army. The course is scheduled to begin in April 2025 at the Pre-Commissioning Training Academy (PCTA)."
Also, “Selected candidates will be detailed for training at the officers training academy, according to their position in the final order of merit (engineering stream-wise) up to the number of available vacancies and subject to meeting all eligibility criteria.”
