BPSC TRE 2024: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has declared the exam schedule for the teacher recruitment exam (TRE) 2024. 

 

The Bihar TRE 2024 examination is scheduled to be conducted from 27 June this year, and will continue till 30 June. 

 

Candidates must note that the Bihar Public Service Commission has sent a letter to the District Magistrates of all districts. It has been stated that the list of centers should be provided latest by 6 June so that the exam can be conducted on time.

 

The Patna High Court had put a stay on the third phase of the teacher recruitment exam. Now, the Bihar Public Service Commission has sent a letter to the District Magistrates of all districts. 

 

The official letter states that the exam for 87,774 positions for Classes 1 to 5, 6 to 8, 9 to 10, and 11 to 12 will be held from June 27 to 30. This exam will be conducted in one shift. 

 

Therefore, the list of centers should be provided by 6 June so that the exam can be conducted on time.

Reasons for the Patna High Court Stay on Teacher Recruitment Exam

  • The Patna High Court temporarily stayed the third phase of the teacher recruitment exam on May 29. 
  • The court issued an order regarding weightage for guest teachers in Plus 2 schools.
  • It directed that five marks per year and a maximum of 25 marks for five years should be given as weightage.
  • The court clarified that teachers from backward and extremely backward departments are receiving weightage.
  • In the BPSC-conducted teacher recruitment, these teachers receive five marks of weightage per year.
  • Both guest teachers and teachers from backward and extremely backward departments are engaged in teaching.
  • Therefore, the court stated that guest teachers should also receive weightage.
