Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has published the notification for CDS I Exam 2022 today (December 22). Aspiring candidates can apply online for the Combined Defence Services (I) 2022 exam through the official website at upsc.gov.in. The candidates can fill the online application form by 11th January 2022 till 6:00 PM.

The UPSC CDS 1 exam is scheduled to be held on 10th April 2022. The UPSC CDS 1 exam will be held in the offline pen and paper based mode. The UPSC CDS 1 Exam 2022 is conducted for recruitment to Indian Military Academy IMA, Officers Training Academy, Indian Naval Academy INA and Indian Air Force (IAF) Academy. UPSC CDS exam is conducted twice every year and the notification for the second exam will be released later.

UPSC CDS I 2022 Exam Eligibility Criteria:
  • IMA and OTA: The candidate must have a Degree of a recognised University or equivalent.
  • For Indian Naval Academy: Degree in Engineering from a recognised University/ Institution.
  • For Air Force Academy: The candidate must have a Degree of a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.
UPSC CDS I 2022 Exam Application Fee: Candidates (excepting Female/SC/ST candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 200/.
