NEET PG 2024: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the city list for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post-Graduation (NEET PG) 2024 August examination 2024 today, 19 July.
The NEET PG exam, scheduled to be conducted in two shifts, will take place across 185 cities nationwide due to increased security measures mandated by NBEMS and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
The NEET-PG 2024 admit cards will be available from August 8, indicating the specific test center within the chosen test city. Candidates will receive detailed information regarding this via email on July 29 at their registered email addresses.
Candidates who were issued admit cards for the exam originally scheduled on June 23 are notified that their previously allocated test cities are no longer valid. They are required to choose new test cities from July 19 to July 22 (until 11:55 PM) by logging into their NEET-PG 2024 applicant account on the NBEMS website.
NEET-PG Test-City 2024: Selection Process
- Choice of Test Cities: Candidates must select four preferred test cities based on the state of their correspondence address.
- Alternative Cities: If demand exceeds availability within their state, candidates will be offered test cities in nearby states.
- City Allocation: Test cities will be allocated randomly and not according to the order of preferences provided by candidates.
NEET-PG 2024: Admit card details
- Test City Selection: Candidates who previously received admit cards for NEET-PG 2024 must choose their preferred test cities again. This can be done through an online window available on the NBEMS website from July 19 to July 22, 2024, using their login credentials.
- Invalidity of Previous Test Cities: The test city and center details from the earlier admit cards for the June 23, 2024 exam are no longer valid.
- Test City Allotment List: Candidates will receive the test city allotment list via email at their registered addresses on July 29, 2024.
- Admit Card Release: The specific test center within the allocated test city will be detailed in the new admit cards, which will be released on August 8, 2024, on the NBEMS website.
