KSET 2024 Exam Dress Code Out: Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has released the dress code for candidates appearing for the Karnataka State Eligibility Test scheduled to be held on November 24, 2024.

According to the official schedule, the KSET 2024 examination is scheduled to be conducted on November 24, 2024. While there will be two papers in the examination, Paper I will have 50 objective-type compulsory questions and carry a total of 100 marks. Paper II will include 100 objective-type compulsory questions, with a total marks of 200. However, the total duration of the exam is three hours, from 10 AM to 1 PM.

KSET 2024: Dress Code for male candidates

Candidates should note that full-sleeved shirts are allowed permitted on the day of the examination. Male candidates should ensure that they wear half-sleeved shirts. 
 
While pants and plain trousers (without pockets/with minimal pockets) are the preferred dress code for male candidates, kurta pyjamas, jeans are not permitted. 

The clothes worn by male candidates should be light i.e. no zip pockets, pockets, large buttons and elaborate embroidery.

While shoes are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall, candidates are advised to wear sandals or flat-soled slippers.

Candidates are prohibited from wearing any metal jewellery around the neck or wearing earrings, rings and bracelets.

KSET 2024: Dress Code for Female Candidates
Women candidates are prohibited from wearing clothes with elaborate embroidery, flowers, brooches or buttons.

Full-sleeved clothes/jeans should not be worn on the day of the examination, instead they are directed to wear half-sleeved clothes.

High-heeled shoes/slippers and shoes/slippers with thick soles should not be worn, thin-soled slippers are mandatory.
 
Female candidates are prohibited from wearing any kind of metal jewellery. (Except for Mangalsutra and Anklet).

KSET 2024: List of Prohibited Items

Candidates should ensure that they do not bring any prohibited items to the examination centre as listed below.

Electronic items, mobile phones, pen drives, earphones, microphones, Bluetooth devices and wrist watches are not allowed inside the examination hall.

Bringing and eating edible items into the examination hall is prohibited, not even drinking water bottles are allowed.

Drinking water will be provided at the examination centre itself.

Pencils, paper, erasers, geometry boxes and log tables are not allowed inside the examination centre.

No hat/hat should be worn on the head.

No mask of any kind should be worn.

Only the following items are allowed to be brought on the day of the examination.

Candidates must strictly follow the above mentioned KEA rules, failing which strict action will be taken against the candidates as per the rules.
