NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2022 examination in two sessions. The first session exam will now be held on April 21, 24, 25, 29, and May 1, 4, 2022. The candidates have the option to apply for one Session (April) or more than one Session (May 2022) together and pay the exam fee accordingly. This year, a total of 12 new foreign cities have also been added to the already existing 13 cities, where the exam will take place. Candidates would be able to download their hall tickets from the Second week of April 2022.

JEE Main 2022 Session 1 Application fees
- General category candidates have to pay Rs 600 as the application form fees
- SC/ST/PwD/third-gender candidates have to pay Rs 325.
- For the general category candidates hailing from abroad, the fees is Rs 3000.
- SC/ST/PwD and third gender candidates belonging to overseas are required to pay Rs 1500 as application fees.
Step 1 - Visit the official website of the NTA JEE at jeemain.nta.nic.in
Step 2 - On the homepage, click on the link that reads, "New Registration link"
Step 3 - A new page will open, read the detailed instructions carefully before applying
Step 4 - On the registration page, enter all the necessary information required and cross-check the same
Step 5 - Submit details and upload scanned copies of all the required documents as instructed
Step 6 - Pay the examination fees after uploading the documents
Step 7 - Submit the applications and take a printout of the confirmation page for further use.
