Indian Institute of Technology – Kanpur is all set to conduct the Joint Engineering Examination (JEE) Advanced 2018 on May 20. 

While the date of the exam was finalised during Joint Admission Board (JAB) meeting in the campus premises on September 17, 2017,  the exam is usually conducted by CBSE in pen and paper and computer based mode in the month of April.

However, JEE (Advanced) 2018 will be conducted in online mode.

Highlights 
The JEE cell at IIT Kanpur is in the process of finalising the events required for conducting the examination. 

The entrance exam will go completely online from next year. 

Nearly 11 lakh candidates took the JEE Main this year. 

2.21 lakh qualified for JEE Advanced this year.
