The Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) started application process for JAM 2022 on 25 August, 2021. The application form is available online on the official website- jam.iitr.ac.in. The last date to apply and submit documents on the website is 11 October, 2021 for interested and eligible candidates.
Earlier the Joint Admission Test for Masters - 2022 application form was scheduled to be issued on August 30, 2021. The online computer based (CBT) JAM exam is scheduled to be held on February 13, 2022.

IIT JAM 2022: Eligibility Criteria
The candidates qualifying the JAM 2022 exam must satisfy the following eligibility criteria for completing admissions to IITs across India.
Criteria 1: All the candidates taking admission to IITs through JAM exam should hold a Bachelor’s degree.
Criteria 2: In the qualification degree General/OBC (NCL)/EWS category candidates, the aggregate marks/ CGPA or CPI should be 55% or 5.5 out of 10. At the same time,50% or 5.0 out of 10 is required for the SC/ST and PwD category candidates.
Criteria 3: The foreign nationals applying for admissions should have an Indian degree of bachelor’s to apply. (Matter of respective institute's admission policy)
IIT JAM 2022: Registration Fee
General category candidates will have to pay an online registration fee of Rs 1500 for paper one and Rs 2,100 for paper two. At the same time, female candidates of all categories / SC / ST / PWD candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 750 for one test paper and Rs 1,050 for two test papers.
IIT JAM 2022: How to fill online application form
Step 1: Visit the official website of JAM 2022 at jam.iitr.ac.in.
Step 2: Click the link that reads, ‘JAM 2022: Apply Online’ available on the homepage.
Step 3: A new page will appear, candidates will be required to generate user Id and password for fresh registration
Step 4: Re-login to fill the online application form and cross-check the details.
Step 5: Upload necessary documents, pay the application fee and click on the final submission.
Step 6: Take a print of the confirmation page for future references.
