The application process for HTET 2019 is to conclude today i.e. October 18, 2019. The candidates who have not yet applied for the recruitment drive are advised to visit the official website and apply now.
The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) has released the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2019 examination dates. The candidates can check the official notification by visiting the official website, bseh.org.in.
According to the official notification, the board will conduct the HTET 2019 exam on November 16 & 17, 2019. HTET level 1, 2, and 3 will be held on these dates.
About HTET Examination:
- It will induce the teaching standards and quality education in government schools.
- Candidates, who had appeared in HTET exam, can improve their score in the next attempts.
- There is no restriction on the number of attempts. Therefore, a candidate can appear in the HTET exam as many times as he/she wish to improve his/her score.
- The HTET qualification certificate will remain valid for the next 5 years from the date of issue.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates who possess degrees like DEE/ BEd/ BElEd or as specified in the notification are eligible to apply for the HTET examination.
As per the criteria, out of the total 100 marks, 80 percent has been kept for written test while eight percent will be of experience that is one percent for each completed year of service in the respective category subject to a maximum of eight percent, said an official release.
The rest of the 12% marks will be given on the basis of the interview, it said.
The academic qualifications for the post of PGTs for direct recruitment is at least 50% marks in post-graduation in concerned subjects and B.Ed from a recognised university, Matric with Hindi or Sanskrit or 10+2/BA/MA with Hindi as one of the subject and certificate of having qualified Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test or HTET/ School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET) and consistent good academic record.

HTET Question Pattern
Level-I - For becoming Teacher for Classes I-V: Primary Teacher
Question pattern
The level-1 question paper will be based on the topics of the prescribed syllabus for classes I-V, but their difficulty standard, as well as linkages, could be up to the secondary stage.
Level-II-For becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage (TGT)
Question pattern
The level-2 question paper will be based on the topics of the prescribed syllabus of the Board of School Education Haryana for classes VI-VIII but their difficulty standard as well linkages could be up to the senior secondary stage
Level-III - Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)
Question pattern
The level-3 question paper will be based on the topics of the prescribed syllabus of the Board of School Education Haryana for classes IX-XII but their difficulty standard as well linkages could be up to the Post-Graduate level.
