Staff Selection Commission (SSC - Staff Selection Commission) conducts many recruitment exams. One of the exams is for the recruitment of Sub Inspector (SI).
Such recruitments selections are through written exam and interview, which is conducted through the recruitment board.
The applications were invited by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) for the post of Sub Inspector (CAPF) till October 16.
The candidates have started preparing for the exam after the application process. The date of Computer Based Examination (Paper-I): December 11 & 12, 2019

SSC invites applications for recruitment to the posts of Sub-Inspector, Assistant Sub-Inspector in different departments. Recently, the application process for the recruitment of Delhi Police, CISF and CAPF have ended.
These posts are under SSC Group B and Group C and Non-Gazetted. For these, the selected candidates get a salary ranging from about 30 thousand rupees to one lakh rupees or more.

Scheme of Exam:
The examination will consist of Paper-I, Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Physical Endurance Test (PET), Paper-II and Detailed Medical Examination (DME). All these stages of the examination are mandatory. Details of these Papers/ Tests are as follows:
Paper- I: Time duration: 2 hours
I General Intelligence and Reasoning: 50/ 50
II General Knowledge and General Awareness: 50/ 50
III Quantitative Aptitude: 50/ 50
IV English Comprehension: 50/ 50
Paper: 2: time duration: 2 hours
English language & Comprehension: 200/ 200
Objective type questions are asked in both papers. The questions are in both Hindi and English languages. Now, these exams are taken on computer mode. To qualify, it is mandatory for the general category candidates to get a minimum of 30 percent, OBC and EWS 25 and other categories 20 percent.
Physical Examination (PST / PET) Pattern
Candidates who qualify the written examination are included in the physical examination. Physical examinations are of two types - PST and PET.
Under PST, the selectors check the length, weight, and BMI of the candidates. Chest measurement is also examined. However, chest measurement is not necessary for women candidates.
At the same time, 100 meters and other different distance races, long jump, high jump are required for both women and men candidates under PET. At the same time, the shot put is only required for male candidates.
Medical Test
The medical examination is done after physical qualification. Under this, a medical examination of the candidate is done by the Grade-1 Medical Officer or Assistant Surgeon of Central or State Government.
In this, the eyes, knees, flat feet, varicose vein and high color vision of the candidates are examined. Apart from this, their mental and physical health is also examined.
Post Selection Training (PST):
Candidates selected bypassing these three procedures are sent for training. Even during training, they have to perform better in many different events such as Tarzan swing, Monkey crawl, jumping horizontal board, vertical rope. It is only after being successful in this that he is finally included in the force.
