The GUJCET 2020 exam has been postponed again by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB), Gandhinagar. The entrance examination was earlier scheduled to be held on July 30, 2020. The authorities have issued an official notice on the website stating the postponement of the written examination. The decision has been taken due to the significant rise in the COVID-19 cases across the state.
GSEB has also announced the new exam date for the Gujarat State Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2020. As per the official notice, the entrance examination will now be conducted on August 22, 2020, in pen and paper mode. The authorities have also declined the admit card download facility. Now the GSEB will release the admit card of candidates 10 days prior to the examination that is August 12, tentatively.

This year, a total of 1,25,781 candidates have registered for GUJCET 2020. Out of which a total number of 49,888 students have applied for Group A (Physics. Chemistry and Mathematics), 75,519 students have applied for Group A (Physics. Chemistry and Biology) and 374 have applied for Group AB ( Physics. Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology).
