The fourth round of counseling for candidates who have passed Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) exam in 2011 will be held from January 09 according to an order issued by the Supreme court.

The counseling will be done on the basis of merit list prepared.

For GEN candidates the qualifying marks would be 70% while for Reserved category it is 65%. The notification regarding the 4th round of counselling has been issued to officials of NIC and District Institute of Education and Training (DIET).

Issuing the Cut-Off list it said that on the basis of merit the list has been issued for GEN and Reserved category candidates. The cut off marks for same has been issued.

Cut Off Marks :
For General Category :105 Marks
For Reserved Category : 97 Marks

According to the programme the counseling for Male candidates of all categories will be held from January 09 to 11 while for Female candidates it will be held from January 12 to 14.


B.Ed, M.Ed programmes to be of 2 years duration

There will be a waiting list of 10% more candidates in this counselling; If a candidate does not join his/her duty in specified time; In that case waiting list candidates will be preferred . The final list prepared after completion of first, second and third round category list has been issued.


CBSE Board exams to begin from March 2

If the roll number and detailed information provided of candidates on district centres will vary then he/she will have to go through verification process.
