CTET 2024 Registration: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is going to close the registration window for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET 2024) July session. The CTET July 2024 exam will be conducted on July 7 in twenty languages in 136 cities across the country. Interested candidates can submit their applications by visiting the official website i.e. ctet.nic.in.
CTET exam 2024 will be conducted for two papers in separate shifts - paper 2 will be held in the morning shift from 9.30 am to 12 noon and paper 1 in the afternoon shift from 2 pm to 4.30 pm. Candidates may note that CTET paper 1 is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates to become teachers for classes 1 to 5 and paper 2 for candidates who intend to be teacher for classes 6 to 8.
According to the official notice, “The candidate’s particulars cannot be changed/edited once the examination fee has been submitted. However, the facility of corrections in the particulars (except city of examination) may be made available on the portal during the specified period which will be notified on the website of CTET.”
To submit the applications for this exam, candidates need to pay the application fee people belonging to general and OBC(NCL) will have to pay 1,000 rupees as an application fee and an extra 200 rupees if appearing for both the papers. Whereas SC, ST, and differently-abled persons will have to pay 500 rupees for one paper and 600 rupees for appearing in both papers.
