CTET 2019 Update: In a bid to conduct the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) smoothly, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has added more exam centres in Assam and Bihar.


The decision comes after the board received huge number of applications. "Due to more number of applications in Patna, Muzaffarpur and Guwahati beyond the capacity of schools and colleges in these cities,  the CBSE has decided to add more  examination cities in Assam and Bihar," read a press release issued by CBSE.
 
The application process for CBSE CTET July 2019 was closed on March 14, 2019.
 
The correction window is now open for the CTET July 2019 exam.

The correction window is open till April 1, 2019. There is a chance for the candidates to correct the mistake on the information provided on the application form.
 
CTET:
As per existing guidelines framed by NCTE, the validity period is 7 years. There are two Papers in each CTET:
Paper I:- For Class I to V
Paper II:- For Class VI to VIII
If a candidate intends to teach Classes from I-VIII, he/she has to appear in both the Papers.
