However, the online applications will re-open on September 6.
How to register?
The simple application process is given below.
Step 1: Visit ctet.nic.in.
Step 2: Go to the application notification.
Step 3: Read the instructions and apply accordingly.
All such candidates may complete their online application by uploading of photographs and signatures within the stipulated time.
No further extension will be given under any circumstances.
The exam was scheduled to be held on September 16 but the dates have now been changed due to delay in the start of the application process, reports DNA.
"CTET examination will be conducted in all Indian languages as was being conducted earlier. I have already directed @cbseindia29 to conduct examination in all the 20 languages as was being done earlier," tweeted HRD minister Prakash Javadekar.
Amendment in Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V:Primary Stage
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in
final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in
final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in
accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in
final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in
final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*.
OR
“Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)”
“(a) who has acquired the qualification or Bachelor of Education from any NCTE
recognized institution shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in classes I to
V provided the person so appointed as a teacher shall mandatorily undergo a six
month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, within two
year of such appointment as primary teacher”.
Note:
The candidates those who passed B.Ed qualification and already applied for Paper–II as per the eligibility and have already paid necessary fee as
specified may also apply now under the amendment for both the papers viz Paper-I and Paper-II. Those who wish to apply for Paper I also, now
may do so during the correction period which is extended till September 15, 2018 from Thursday, September 6, 2018.
