Amid the nation-wide lockdown due to coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has postponed the Bihar BPSSC SI Mains Exam 2020. The main examination was scheduled to be conducted on April 26, 2020, at various centres across the state. Candidates can check the official notice available on the BPSSC's website.
The commission will soon announce the BPSSC Combined Mains Exam on the official website of BPSSC at bpssc.bih.nic.in. Candidates who have qualified the Bihar Police SI Prelims Exam are eligible to appear for the main examination.
The BPSSC is conducting the recruitment examination for the post of Sub Inspector, Sergeant and Assistant Superintendent Jail (Direct recruitment)/ Assistant Superintendent Jail (Ex-Serviceman). Bihar Police Subordinate Service Commission had invited applications for 2404 posts out of which 2064 are for Police Sub Inspector, 215 for Sergeant and 125 for Assistant Superintendent Jail Posts.
