Amid the significant increase in the COVID-19 cases, the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, BITS Pilani has announced to postpone the entrance examinations. The BITSAT 2020 exam date which was earlier scheduled to be held between August 6 to 10 will stand postponed. The authorities will announce the new exam date after the situation will turn favourable. The authorities will announce the result date through a separate notice. The exam postponement notice is available on the official website of the BITS Pilani at bitsadmission.com.

 All the academic programmes have been postponed by theInstitute till further notice. 

BITSAT 2020 Exam Pattern:

-  The examination will be conducted for three hours.
 - It will consist of four parts.
 - The questions for this exam would be objective type
 - There will be negative marking of one mark for each wrong answer
 - Each correct answer gives three marks. 

Part I - Physics. This part will carry a total of 40 marks.
Part II - Chemistry. This part will carry a total of 40 marks.
Part III - (a) English Proficiency and (b) Logical Reasoning, which will carry a total of 25 marks. 
Part IV - Mathematics or Biology, which will carry a total of 45 marks.

BITSAT 2020 Courses:

Integrated First Degree Programmes: B.E., B.Pharm., M.Sc.  degrees.
Higher Degree Programmes: M.E./ M.Pharm./MBA
PhD admission for 2nd semester, 2019-20: Doctoral programmes.

The BITSAT entrance exam will be conducted for the admissions to various integrated first-degree programmes of engineering in the BITS, Pilani, at Pilani Campus, Goa Campus, and Hyderabad Campus.
