CAT 2024 Registration: The Indian Institution of Management (IIM) Calcutta is going to close the registration window for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 soon. Interested candidates are advised to fill out the registration form by visiting the official website i.e. iimcat.ac.in.
The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta will conduct the CAT exam 2024 on November 24 in three sessions. The CAT exam is conducted every year for the candidates who wish to be admitted into postgraduate and doctorate programs offered in IIMs. CAT scores are also used for management courses offered by non-IIMs.
To register for this exam the candidates from the general, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category are required to pay the application fee of Rs 2,500 to register for the CAT 2024. For scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), and person with disabilities (PwD) categories the registration fee of Rs 1,250.
CAT 2024: Eligibility criteria
Candidates should hold a bachelor's degree with a minimum CGPA of 50% (45% for SC, ST, and PwD, DA categories) from a recognized university. The degree should be a 3-year program and can be completed through regular, distance, or online modes.
Candidates who are in their final year of a bachelor's degree program or are awaiting their degree results are also eligible to apply for the CAT 2024 exam.
Candidates with professional degrees such as Chartered Accountant (CA), Company Secretary (CS), Cost and Management Accountant (ICWA), or Fellow Chartered Accountant of India (FCAI) are also eligible.
