The Short-lists for the Post Graduate Programme (PGP) based on CAT 2019 results will be announced from May 8, 2020, by the IIMs. 
The statement regarding the same was given by the organising institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode.

The result for CAT 2019 was announced on January 4, 2020.

The statement added that IIM Kozhikode has successfully completed the process for the largest MBA entrance exam of India to the most sought after B-Schools in the country.

A total of 244,190 candidates registered for CAT Exam this year with the highest number of CAT registrations in the last 10 years. 

Out of this 209,926 candidates successfully appeared for CAT 2019, which was conducted at 376 test centres spread across 156 cities in India on November 24, 2019. 

The Cat 2019 Convener, Prof. Shubhasis Dey, shared that the CAT 2019 saw an increase in Female-Male ratio at 35.73 %, in the number of appeared candidates, as compared to 35.02% in CAT 2018.
