Four persons were on Friday arrested by the special task force of UP police for allegedly leaking question papers of an examination conducted by Railway Recruitment Board Kolkata.
Acting on a tip off, the STF personnel arrested Vijay Bahadur, the mastermind of the racket, Narsilal Meena, Prahlad Kumar Meena, Dinesh Tiwari from Mahanagar area this evening
while they were waiting to provide papers to some examinees, a spokesman said.
Examination related material and photocopies of admit cards of some examinees were recovered from their possession.
"Rajasthan police had also given information in this regard," the spokesman said.
Meanwhile, information was also received that question paper of the second phase of loco pilot examination being conducted by Kolkata board could be leaked.
The gang is believed to have been active in West Bengal, Bihar, UP, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi and Gujarat.
