IIT Bombay QS Ranking: India has been included in the list of the top 150 international higher educational institutions in the world for the first time. IIT Bombay has been ranked 149th in the QS World University Rankings 2024, marking an improvement of 23 places for the institution.
While it is a matter of concern that India's top science institute, IISc (Indian Institute of Science), held the top position in the country last year with a ranking of 155th, it has dropped to 225th in the current rankings. Similarly, there has been a significant decline in the ranking of IIT Delhi, which now holds the 197th position.
