Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education is going to conduct the half-yearly examination for classes 9 to 12 from 29th November. The board has started the preparation to conduct the examinations. In view of the reducing cases of COVID-19, the board has taken the decision to conduct the half-yearly examination in offline mode. The examination will be conducted by following all the COVID-19 protocols.
The board has also reduced the syllabus for classes 9 to 12 for the academic session 2021-22. The syllabus has been reduced for subjects like English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu for classes 9 to 12. Along with this, the syllabus for subjects like Mathematics, Science and Social Science, Humanities, Commerce and Science streams has also been reduced by the board. The board has made various changes in its marking scheme. As per the media reports, 80 marks have been fixed for theory and 20 marks for practical examination.
Online Tracking System Launched
The Madhya Pradesh government has launched an online tracking system for the first time to make the distribution of free textbooks to school students transparent and paperless. The online tracking system of books is going to be based on geo-tag technology and will endeavour to distribute 35.55 million books during the current academic year, 2021-22. An online Geo-tagging system has been developed in collaboration with National Informatics Center (NIC). The candidates can find more details and updates from the official website.
Schedule for Class 10 & 12 Exams Released
The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education has also released the schedule for class 10 and 12 examinations. The examination will be conducted from 12th February to 20th March. The practical examinations will be conducted till 31st March 2022. The candidates are suggested to check the official schedule and prepare accordingly for the board exams.
