Amar Ujala Samvad update: Many experts from the Education sector participated in Amar Ujala's programme Samvad going on in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. These include veterans such All India Council of Technical Education Member Secretary Professor Rajive Kumar, State Secretary Higher Education Shailesh Bagauli, Pro-Chancellor, Graphic Era Professor Dr. Rakesh Kumar Sharma and Graphic Era Group Chairman Dr. Kamal Ghanshala. 
 

Uttarakhand Higher Education Department Secretary Shailesh Bagauli said that in the National Education Policy, attention is being paid to making the students studying in college employment oriented. In a bid to promote and financially help PhD students, the government is implementing several schemes to give them scholarships.
 

AICTE Member Secretary Professor Rajive Kumar, while talking about the myths related to higher education among students and parents, said that the total registration rate in the country is 28 percent. There is a provision in the education policy to take it to 50 percent in the coming future. The government is working towards fulfilling the objectives of the education policy.
 

Enumerating the benefits of leveling the National Credit Framework, he said that with its help, vocational students can come into mainstream education, as well as helpful for students to come into the field of higher education.
