NEET UG Counselling 2024: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has started the registration process for NEET UG counselling from today. The counselling registration will close on August 20, 2024. The counselling is being conducted for 15% of All India Quota (AIQ) MBBS and BDS seats.

Candidates who have qualified the NEET exam are eligible to apply for the counselling process. Interested and eligible candidates can visit the official website at mcc.nic.in. to complete their counselling registration form.

The counselling process will be conducted for 1,09,145 MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) seats and 27,868 Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) seats. Additionally, around 1,000 BSc Nursing seats will be distributed through NEET counselling, along with a number of seats in AYUSH and veterinary programmes across India.


NEET UG Counselling 2024: Important dates
  • The choice filling window for round one will be open from August 16 to August 20 till 11:55 pm. The option to lock preferences will be available from 4 pm on August 20.
  • The seat allotment results for round one will be declared on August 23, 2024. Candidates must report to their allotted colleges between August 24 and August 29. The institutes will verify the data of the candidates who have appeared and MCC will share this data between August 30 and August 31, 2024.

  • NEET UG Admit Card, Rank Letter or Scorecard
  • Identity Proof (Aadhaar, Driving License, Passport and PAN Card)
  • Class 10th and 12th Certificates and Marksheets
  • Eight passport size photographs
  • Provisional Allotment Letter
  • Caste Certificate or Person with Disability (PWD) Certificate (if applicable)

  • Firstly, candidates need to visit the official website of MCC at mcc.nic.in.
  • Then, click on the link given for NEET UG counselling, on the homepage. 
  • Enter the required credentials to log in and submit.
  • Fill the application form and pay the fee and submit. 
  • Download and keep a copy of the application form for future reference.
