SSC JE 2024 Paper 2 Exam: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the exam dates for the junior engineer (JE) paper 2 exams 2024 for civil, mechanical, and electrical posts. The commission has issued a notification regarding the dates. The candidates can visit the official website i.e. ssc.gov.in. to check the official notification for more details.
According to the official notice, the SSC JE paper 2 will be conducted on 6 November 2024. Candidates who have already qualified for the SSC JE paper 1 can appear for the same. According to the official notice, “The Commission has decided to conduct the Paper-II of Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical) Examination, 2024 on 6th day of November 2024.”
Earlier, the number of vacancies has also increased i.e. initially this recruitment drive was going to fill out a total of 968 posts of Junior Engineer in the civil, electrical, and mechanical fields. But, the number of vacancies increased to 1795. The selection of the candidates for these posts will be done based on Paper 1, Paper 2, and a document verification process.
The SSC JE Paper 1 exam 2024 was conducted on 5, 6, and 7 June 2024 and the results were announced on 20 August 2024. The SSC JE Paper 1 scorecard 2024 was issued on 22 August 2024 and candidates can download their scorecards till 5 September 2024 up to 6 pm. A total of 16,223 candidates qualified for the SSC JE 2024 paper 2 exam out of them, 11,765 are eligible for civil engineering posts, while 4,458 have qualified for electrical and mechanical engineering positions.
