The Uttar Pradesh Board of High School and Intermediate Education is likely to begin the evaluation process for the UP Board Class 10 and Class 12 answer sheet for Orange zones from today i.e. May 12, 2020.
The evaluation for the same will be conducted in the 36 districts i.e. Ghaziabad, Hapur, Baghpat, Basti, Budaun, Sambhal, Auraiya, Shamli, Sitapur, Bahraich, Kannauj, Azamgarh, Mainpuri, Shravasti, Banda, Jaunpur, Etah, Kasganj, Sultanpur, Prayagraj, Jalaun, Mirzapur, Etawah, Pratapgarh, Ghazipur, Gonda, Mau, Bhadohi, Unnao, Pilibhit, Balrampur, Ayodhya, Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Hardoi, Kaushambi.
The evaluation process of the remaining 19 districts will begin once the lockdown is lifted.
There are 20 districts which are identified under the green zone. The evaluation process resumed in these 20 districts while maintaining social distancing norms and proper hygiene. The evaluation process in these districts commence from May 05 & will be concluded on May 25, 2020.
A board official stated, “While the evaluation process in the green zones was started last week, it will begin in most districts from tomorrow. We expect scrutinising of the answer sheets will be completed by May-end.”
The official also mentioned, that "the results can be announced between June-end or July first week as it will not take more than two weeks to complete the evaluation process in the districts fall under red zones”.
A total of 56,89,622 candidates had registered for class 12 and class 10 exams this year.
