CBSE Results 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a noticed to more than 500 schools to review and recheck their internal assessment (practical) marks of the  students.  

 

As the board has seen a significant difference between the theory and practical marks of more than 50% students in all the affiliated schools. 

 

The board adviced a thorough rechecking of the assessment of all the practical exams. 
 

According to the advisory board od CBSE, through advanced AI tools and based on data from previous years' results, a significant disparity has been detected between theory and practical marks in some subjects among 50% or more students in around 500 CBSE-affiliated schools.

 

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has instructed affiliated schools to accurately assess practical exams due to the significant difference between theory and practical marks in some subjects. 

 

The board has advised schools to review their internal assessment processes to ensure a more robust and transparent procedure.

 

Accordling to the official notice issued today, CBSE stated, "Through advanced AI tools and based on data from previous years' results, a significant disparity has been detected between theory and practical marks in some subjects among 50% or more students in around 500 CBSE-affiliated schools."

In recent years, the increase in marks has emerged as a significant issue. The number of students passing and scoring above 90 percent in class 10 and 12 board exams has risen in state boards as well. This has led to intense competition for college admissions.
