OTET Admit Card 2024: The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha (BSE Odisha) has released the admit card for the Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test today i.e. 12 August 2024. Candidates who are going to appear for the same can visit the official website i.e.bseodisha.ac.in. to download their call letter.
The candidates may note that they will require their login credentials such as registration number and date of birth to view their hall ticket. The exam is expected to be conducted on 17 August in two shifts. Paper 1 will be commenced from 9:00 am to 11:30 am and Paper 2 from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm.
Paper 1 will consist of 30 questions each in Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1 Odia/Urdu/Hindi/Telugu/Bengali, Language 2 English, Maths, and EVS. Each question will be of 1 mark. The question paper will be based on the prescribed syllabus of the state for 1st to 5th class but the difficulty level as well as the linkages could be up to the secondary stage.
Paper 2 will have 30 compulsory questions each on Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1 (Odia/Urdu/Hindi/Telugu/Bengali), and Language 2 (English). Candidates must choose either 60 questions on Maths and Science or 60 questions on Social Science.
This exam is conducted for the candidates who wish to work as teachers of classes 1 to 8 in State Government Schools, private aided schools, and private unaided schools in Odisha.
