The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission on Saturday declared HPPSC recruitment result with a list of 32 successful candidates who have qualified the Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service (HPAS) and Combined Competitive examinations 2012.
Shikha Sharma was declared as topper among the selected HPAS candidates, according to a HPPSC release.
Apart from Sharma, the list include eight other candidates selected for HAPS, three candidates for Himachal Police Service (HPS), six for Tehsildar ''A'' grade, three for the post of Block Development Officers (BDO), One for District Employment Officer(DEO), six for Treasury Officers and four for Assistant Registrar Cooperative Societies (ARCS).
As many as 31,363 applications were received for the HPPSC recruitment examinations out of which 27,166 were admitted provisionally and 11,683 candidates appeared for HPAS preliminary examinations.
Out of these, 556 applicants appeared in the main examinations, 98 candidates manage to clear the examinations and qualified to appear in the interview for the 32 posts.
Among the successful HPAS candidates, Shikha Sharma topped the list, followed by Babu Ram Sharma, Avaninder Kumar, Surender Mohan, Sunny Sharma, Vikram Singh, Vijay Kumar, Niraj Kumari and Tribhuvan Singh.
Those selected for Himachal Police Service (HPS) are Naresh Kumar Verma, Amar Negi and Manoj Kumar, while Rajesh Kumar, Jagdish Chand, Ganesh Thakur, Surender Kumar, Pankaj Sood, and Vikram Jeet Singh were selected for the post of Tehsildar ''A'' grade.
Shephali Sharma, Raj Kumar and Sonu were selected for the post of Block Development Officer while Manmohan Singh was declared successful for lone post of District Employment Officer.

Nivedita Negin, Amit Kumar, Anirudh S Chauhan, Samritika, Pulkit Sandal and Prashant were selected for the post of Treasury Officers while Kamal Kishore, Paras Aggarwal, Neeraj Sood and RajneeshKumar have been selected for the post of Assistant Registrar Cooperative Societies (ARCS), the release said.
