CBSE Class XII results for various region announced
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the results for Class XII for various regions on Wednesday.

UP Board Class 10th (Matric) Results 2014 will be declared on May 30th 2014.

While the results of Ajmer, Allahabad, Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, Panchkula and Patna Regions were declared today, resuls of Chennai and Thiruvananthapuram regions were declared on May 26.

In the mean time UP Board Class 10th Results will be declared on May 30th. Shakuntala Devi Yadav, secretary, Madhyamik Siksha Parishad, said the results will be announced at 12.30 pm. She further informed that the students can also find their results on the official website of UP Board.

Talking to Amar Ujala Shail Yadav, Chairman and Director of Secondary Education Board said that " The result for class 10th exam will be announced from Allahabad Headquarter as scheduled.

The pass percentage of Thiruvananthapuram region stood at 94.26 per cent and the same for Chennai region stood at 91.63 per cent, CBSE said in a statement.

The pass percentage of Bhubaneswar region stood at 86.25 per cent, Ajmer at 86.22 per cent, Panchkula at 82.84 per cent, Guwahati at 75.80 per cent and Patna at 73.53 per cent.

To access your results the candidates need to enter their Roll Number/Name provided in the Hall Ticket / Admit Card.

According to an Official statement released by CBSE " A total of 19,202 foreign students appeared for the CBSE class 10 board examinations in contrast to 17,551 students in 2013. On the other hand, 12,210 foreign students appeared for the CBSE class 12 board examinations in comparison to 11,119 students in 2013."

The official statement issued by CBSE said that  " A  total of 1,02,9874 students have registered this year for the Senior Secondary School Examination (Class XII) exam which witnessed  a significant rise of 9.32 percent over 2013."

The CBSE Board had conducted class XII examination which started on March 01, 2014 and ended on April 17 all across the country. The CBSE Class12th exam started with English Elective (Paper code 001) and it ended with Painting (Paper Code 049).

According to the CBSE, the candidates can appear for the Improvement of Performance attempt in July as per the option exercised for the main examination held in March the same year.

Last year over 82 percent students cleared the 2013 Class XII CBSE examinations. Girls outshone boys with pass percentage of 87.98 as compared to 77.78 percent of boys.
