NEET UG Result 2023: New Government Medical Colleges

Recently, Union Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya stated that out of the 50 new medical colleges, 30 are government medical colleges. He mentioned that there are 13 in Telangana, five each in Andhra Pradesh and Rajasthan, four in Maharashtra, three each in Assam, Gujarat, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu, two each in Haryana, Odisha, West Bengal, Jammu and Kashmir, and Madhya Pradesh. Additionally, one medical college each has been recognized in Nagaland, Uttar Pradesh, and Jammu and Kashmir.

NEET UG 2023 Result: Previous Years' Cut Off

It is worth noting that in the past two years, approximately 50% of candidates were unable to meet the NEET cutoff score. In 2022, out of the 17.64 lakh test takers, only 9.93 lakh candidates managed to secure the NEET cutoff marks. Similarly, in 2021, among the 15.44 lakh candidates, a total of 8.70 lakh candidates successfully met the cutoff score.
