KSET July 2024: For the second time, The Kerala State Eligibility Test (KSET) registration deadline has been extended by the LBS Centre for Science and Technology for the second time till 20 July, 2024.
The Kerala SET examination for July 2024 is scheduled to take place on 28 July, 2024 and the admit cards will be released on 17 July, 2024.
This Kerala SET examination aims at the recruitment for higher secondary school teachers and non-vocational instructors in Vocational Higher Secondary Education (VHSE).
The Kerala SET application form due for the July session was originally set for 15 April, 2024, but it has now been extended to 25 April, 2024. The application form can be completed by qualified applicants by applying through the official KSET website.
The Kerala SET July 2024 application form correction window will be made available by the institute from 3 May and the correction link will work for three days till 5 May, 2024. During this time, candidates will have the access to modify their Kerala SET July 2024 application form.
KSET July 2024: Application fee
- Unreserved (UR) and Other Backward Classes (OBC) Categories:
- Application fee: Rs 1,000
- Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) Categories:
- Application fee: Rs 500

KSET July 2024: Eligibility criteria
- Applicants must hold a master's degree in the relevant field with at least 50% of the required points, or an equivalent grade.
- Applicants must possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree in any field from one of Kerala's universities, or they may have earned similar credentials at any other institution deemed comparable.
- Those without a Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree who have completed a Language Teachers Training Course (LTTC) in Hindi, Arabic, or Urdu or a Diploma in Elementary Education (DLEd) are eligible to apply for the Kerala State Eligibility Test (SET) in July 2024.
- The age requirement to apply for Kerala SET July 2024 is not specified.
- A Non-Creamy Layer Certificate with a date of issue must be obtained and submitted by OBC Non-Creamy Layer Candidates from 17 March - 5 May, 2024.

- Firstly, candidates need to go to the official website at lbsedpdotlbscentredotin.
- Then, click on the link to register for SET July 2024, displayed on the homepage.
- Now, register yourself and fill out the application form.
- Upload all the required documents and pay the application fee.
- Submit and download the confirmation page.
- Lastly, take a printout of the application form for future reference.
