The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) is going to close the online application window for the posts of Medical Officer and Homoeopathic Medical Officer today. Candidates can apply for the posts by visiting the official website i.e. www.hppsc.hp.gov.in.
This recruitment drive will fill out a total of 37 vacancies, of which 22 vacancies are for the post of Homoeopathic Medical Officer and 15 for Medical Officer (Dental). To apply for these posts the age of the candidate must be below 45 years.
The educational qualification is decided according to the post, the candidate is applying for.
Homoeopathic Medical Officer: 10+2 or its equivalent examination from a Board/ University recognized by the Central/State Government. Degree in Homoeopathy of 5½ years duration from a recognized university/Board established by law or institution recognized by the Central/State Govt. mentioned in the 2nd or 3rd schedule of Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973. Should be registered with the Central Homoeopathy Council/Homoeopathy Council of Himachal Pradesh.
Medical Officer: A Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree from the Institute recognised by the Dental Council of India. Registered with State Dental Council.

How to apply for MO, and HMO posts in 2024?
- Firstly candidates need to visit the official website hppsc.hp.gov.in
- Then click on the ‘Apply Online ‘OTR registration for Exams' link available on the homepage.
- Now register yourself and fill out the application form.
- After uploading the documents, pay the fee and click on the submit button.
- Candidates can download the application form and take a printout for future reference.
