Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the Department of Mathematics at BITS Pilani, K K Birla Goa Campus, Goa for a SERB-DST sponsored research project titled “Numerical Approximation of Optimal Control Problems Using Virtual Element Method” under Dr. Anil Kumar (PI), Assistant Professor in Mathematics, BITS-Goa and Dr. Sarvesh Kumar (Co-PI), Associate Professor, Department of Mathematics, IIST Trivandrum.

BITS Pilani JRF Recruitment 2020 Eligibility Criteria: Candidates are expected to have a post-graduate degree in Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics with first-class (or at least CGPA 6.5) and a good academic background with sound knowledge in Differential Equations, Numerical Analysis as well as knowledge in mathematical software such as MATLAB/ MATHEMATICA, etc. Preference will be given to the NET/ GATE qualified candidate.
