Bihar Vidhan Sabha Recruitment 2018
A notification has been released by the Bihar Vidhan Sabha inviting candidates for filling up 101 vacancies by direct recruitment.
The online registration starts from today i.e. October 9, 2018, at 11:00 am and will end on October 31, 2018.

There are a total of 101 vacancies for the candidates to apply for.
Following are the posts:
- Assistant - 54 Posts
- Assistant Librarian - 10 Posts
- Urdu Assistant - 02 Posts
- Research Assistant - 08 Posts
- Urdu Translator - 02 Post
- Translator (Hindi/English) - 02 Posts
- Assistant Caretaker - 06 Posts
- Junior Clerk - 17 Posts
Eligibility Criteria
Age Criteria
The candidate must have an age of 21 years and as for the Junior Clerk, the minimum age can be 18 years as on August 1, 2018. The maximum age for men is 37 years as for women the maximum age is 42 years as on August 1, 2018.
Educational Criteria
1. Assistant: For the post of an Assistant a candidate must be a Graduate from a recognized University
2. Assistant Librarian: For the post of an Assistant Librarian a candidate must be a Graduate from a recognized University in Library Science
3. Urdu Assistant: For a post of Urdu Assistant a candidate must be a Graduate from a recognized university having one Subject of Urdu
4. Research Assistant: For a post of a Research Assistant a candidate must be a Graduate from a recognized University in Library Science
5. Urdu Translator: For the post of an Urdu Translator a candidate must be a Graduate in Hindi or Urdu from a recognized University
6. Translator (Hindi/English): For the post of a Translator Hindi or English a candidate must be a Graduate from a recognized University in Hindi with English as one of the subjects or Graduate in English with Hindi as one of the subjects.
7. Assistant Caretaker: For the post of an Assistant Caretaker a candidate must be a Graduate from a recognized University.
8. Junior Clerk: For the post of a Junior Clerk a candidate must have a certificate of 10+2 from a recognized Board.
Application Fees
The candidates belonging to the General Category and Other Backward Class are required to pay Rs 400 for the application fees.
As for the candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes, are required to pay Rs 100 as the application fees.
