Amid Coronavirus, Andhra Pradesh to Promote Students of Class 6th To 9th Without Examination

The entire nation has been lockdown for 21 days to prevent the coronavirus epidemic. Due to this, the schools have postponed the annual examinations of the students. Many states have decided to promote all the students to the next class except the students of class 10th and 12th. Andhra Pradesh has been added to these states.

 

The students from VI to IX will be promoted to the next class without examination. All students will be declared pass and put in the next class. In this regard, the Andhra government has issued a circular.
 

Apart from Andhra Pradesh, Kendriya Vidyalayas have already announced this. The governments of Gujarat, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh have also announced to promote students from class 5th to 8th in the next class. Many states including Rajasthan, Punjab, and Chhattisgarh have postponed the remaining examinations of the 10th and 12th boards to prevent the coronavirus.


Due to the Coronavirus epidemic, all the students from 1st to 9th grade in Puducherry will be promoted to the next class without taking the exam. On the other hand, the CBSE has written a letter to the students telling them how to prepare at home in the lockdown caused by Corona.
