MAH MHMCT CET 2024: The State Common Entrance Test Cell Maharashtra has started the registration window for the Maharashtra Master in Hotel Management and Catering Technology Common Entrance Test (MAH MHMCT CET) 2024 today, 9 May.  

 

Eligible candidates can apply for the MAH MHMCT CET examination 2024 by visiting the official website at cetcell.mahacet.org.

 

MAH MHMCT CET 2024: Registration deadline 

  • The registration window will be open for seven days until 15 May, according to the official schedule.
  • Detailed examination schedule will be communicated on the respective course's homepage in due course.

 

MAH MHMCT CET 2024: Application fee 

  • Candidates from the unreserved (UR) category from Maharashtra state, as well as those from outside Maharashtra state, need to pay an application fee of Rs 1,000 to register.
  • Candidates belonging to scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), other backward class (OBC), special backward class (SBC), economically weaker section (EWS), person with disability (PWD), belonging to Maharashtra state only, orphan, and transgender categories are required to pay Rs 800 as the application fee.

 

MAH MHMCT CET 2024: Eligibility criteria 

  • Candidates applying for the MAH MHMCT CET 2024 exam should have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 45% marks.
  • Reserved category candidates must have secured a minimum of 40% marks in Class 12 to be eligible for the exam

 

MAH MHMCT CET 2024: Exam pattern

  • The exam will consist of 100 questions covering various topics.
  • English language section will comprise 40 questions.
  • Reasoning section, including verbal and arithmetic reasoning, will have 30 questions.
  • General knowledge and awareness section will include 30 questions.
  • Candidates will receive one mark for each correct answer.
  • There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.
  • The duration of the exam is 90 minutes.
