KVS 2024 registration: On April 15, 2024, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) will close the registration window for Class 1 admission on April 15 (5 p.m.). Eligible candidates may apply by visiting the official website i.e. kvsangathan.nic.in.
Parents or guardians of the candidate can fill out the KVS admission form in order to enrol their children in Class 1. The link for KVS Class 1 admission in 2024 will be operational till 5:00 p.m.
Note that the KVS will release the first provisional list of selected candidates on 19 April, 2024.
KVS 2024 registration: Selection process
- RTE
- Only from Service Priority Categories (1 and 2).
- Any remaining reservation quota following admission under both of the aforementioned conditions.
In the case that there are not enough online applications, the new deadline for the secondary notification about offline registrations for admissions under RTE Provisions, SC, ST, and OBC (NCL) will begin on May 8 and end on May 15, 2024.
The child must be six years old by March 31 of the academic year in which admission is being requested in order to be eligible for Class 1. Additionally, consideration will be given to children born on April 1.
KVS 2024 registration: Admission date
- KVS Class 2 onwards list will be released on April 15, 2024.
- Admission will be conducted from April 16 to April 29, 2024.
- Parents should not submit multiple applications for the same child to a single Vidyalaya.
- If multiple registration forms are received for one child at the same Kendriya Vidyalaya, only the last application will be considered for the admission process.
- In Kendriya Vidyalayas with a double shift system, each shift will be treated as a separate Vidyalaya for admission purposes, according to a statement on the KVS website.
